Melina decided to have the vacation of her dreams. This is her chance to let herself go, and Melina hopes to incorporate some wild sex into the trip. What Melina gets is an island adventure she won’t soon forget, thanks to Devon.
Devon spots Melina and decides to follow the beautiful woman. What he spies on a beach is enough to make him want to kidnap Melina and make her his own. He’s an arrogant man used to everyone obeying him without question and tries to talk Melina into staying with him for a while. However, Melina’s refusal has Devon flexing his muscles to prove how’s in charge.
Throwing a Kink in the Kidnapping is a fast paced story about a woman trying to find herself and ending up in a situation where she didn’t have a lot of control. I liked the fact that Melina was constantly doing the unexpected and kept you waiting to see what she would do next. One of the secondary characters was a perfect addition to this story as it unfolded, especially when Melina was first taken to Devon’s home. Devon was very controlling, even though he was extremely hot. Ms. Wood wove a good story that includes a bit of suspense toward the end of the book and gave you enough glimpses about the island to create your own paradise.
