Argernon is a warrior from Zorn. Since the warriors learned of Earthling women, some have decided they would be perfect mates and he chooses to see what Earth has to offer. Argernon wanted a mini vacation with the opportunity to explore this new world, only to encounter Casey, a damsel in distress. One innocent moment as a hero changes when their instant attraction comes full force and Argernon decides the only way to keep the beauty is by Kidnapping Casey.
This is no Red Riding Hood adventure, and the roads don’t led Grandmother’s house. However, sharp teeth are definitely still included in the story. Laurann Dohner’s second book in the Zorn Warriors series, Kidnapping Casey is one you won’t soon forget. The story has action, suspense, a few soft BDSM moments that explode into sensationally written sex and a dose of humor that makes this book worth of a read or three. I absolutely love Casey’s character. She’s a mixture of sugar and steel and while she has a rough edge when pushed too far, Casey never lets you doubt that she is a woman through and through. I dubbed Argernon “Mr. Arrogant” while reading this story, and had to take his title back slightly towards the end. The man knew how to weld all means of weaponry, and wasn’t afraid to use it to get what he desired most, Casey. I’m anxious for the next installment, and recommend this book to those who enjoy the genre.
