Jemma has been attracted to Blayne since she was first introduced to him, but doesn’t really want to get involved with a soldier because of her father’s issues after he came back from Viet Nam. She notices that Blayne is almost ready to pass out and drives him home then gets trapped at his apartment, due to a snowstorm.
When Blayne and Jemma get together in Major Pleasure, the pages burn, so keep the ice handy. The book is mostly about the two and their reactions to each other before, during and after they are together in Blayne’s apartment. The few times they talk, you learn more about them and why they react in certain ways. I understand both Blayne’s and Jemma’s feelings and some of the issues they faced. If you want a purely sexual love story, this is one for you.
