Jorja has dealt with her share of unruly customers.  It’s to be expected when you work as a cocktail waitress in a casino.  Her night shift takes a turn for the unforeseen when a dark-haired piece of eye candy drags her onto his lap and kisses her, as if they are the only two people in the room.  After making a quick escape, Jorja is finding it hard to ignore the pounding of her heart and the desire to run back to the mystery man for more.

Kian was hoping for a weekend of drinking and gambling with his friend, but the weekend wasn’t turning out as he’d planned.  From the moment he scented his mate in Jorja, Kian knew he had to have her.  He decided they would have some hot and heavy sex and then Kian would reveal his big secret.  Things might have gone smoothly if he hadn’t claimed Jorja before telling her he’s a wolf.

The interference of another wolf causes turmoil between Jorja and Kian and threatens their future together.  Fortunately, Jorja steps out on blind faith and decides to give Kian a chance, even though she hasn’t totally accepted the fact that he is a wolf.  In the end, things work out in a touching happily ever after ending.  Parts of the story were predictable and I couldn’t help hoping for a longer story so I could see a bit more disturbance in the plot.  But because of Jorja’s family status and past, the length of the story works.  Jorja did have reservations about being with Kian but under the circumstances, I think her reaction was as realistic as it could be.  I’m glad she gave her situation serious thought and I think A Werewolf in the Falls is an enjoyable, cute love story.  It made me want to read more from Marisa Chenery.
