Eleven years before wolf shadow shifter Trinity March became foreman of the Lazy L Ranch, his son was kidnapped by a gang of rogue shifters who sold children into slavery. Trin has never stopped searching for his son, so when his human mate Chace Davidson decides to protest his father’s wishes and travel to Italy, Trin accompanies Chace on the trip. In Ravenna, Chace discovers Trin is a shadow shifter and Trin discovers one of the culprits harboring stolen children.

A Cowboy in Ravenna is book six in the Uncommon Cowboys series. The majority of the plot I found to be interesting. The characters displayed realistic emotions, comparable to the issues they dealt with. However, towards the end of the story, the wolf claiming his mate ritual resembled a prisoner of war torture exhibition. The BDSM scene overshadowed the positive aspects of the storyline. Fans who desire reading BDSM will find A Cowboy in Ravenna enjoyable.
