When Miach left the military, he never expected his life to take the turn it did.  Getting a job with a group of scientists, he ended up as part of their experiments.  Now a prisoner of the Stone Ridge pack, Miach is beginning to think the scientists lied to him about how bad shifters were.  He especially can’t seem to get one particular shifter out of his head.

Loving the Enemy is book eight of the Wolves of Stone Ridge series.  It brings together two characters you would never imagine would be paired up, yet the author makes Miach’s transition from enemy to pack member seem believable.  The connection between Nick and Miach is hot, like you would expect to see from this author.  It was their learning period that I enjoyed the most, however, and while Miach does not yet understand the full concept of being mated to a shifter, the protectiveness that he has towards Nick comes through more than once.

Several past characters show up to lend the men a hand and past enemies return to be dealt with.  With each new addition to this series, the author continues to entertain the readers.  Loving the Enemy will keep you turning the pages from the first page.  If you have not yet given this author a shot, I would strongly recommend that you start this with this series.
