Two weeks after breaking up with his vampire lover, Toby
Heaton realizes he made the wrong decision. Toby chose to save his brother’s
life, but in doing so, Toby did not know that breaking the bond with his lover
Demetrios would cost both of them their lives until it was almost too late.
Feast Anew is the third book in the Feasts of Fortune series. In this episode anger, jealousy, regret
and loneliness are the main elements illustrated in the plot. The storyline has
a wonderfully descriptive consistency of action, compassion as well as a touch
of amusement. The characters are especially engaging.
Toby and Demetrios stumble upon several major eye-openers. Toby
discovers what being a chrysalis child really means to a vampire, in addition
to the root of the conspiracy to break up Toby and De. Toby also discovers a
few secrets about his twin brother Taylor. De discovers being too indulgent
encourages immature expectations.
Kate Steele has created an exceptionally gratifying
installment to the series. I enjoyed Feast Anew immensely.
