Marteeka Karland knows how to make a shapeshifter sexy. Dykstra is handsome in any form he chooses. Watching him step back and consider Talia’s feelings instead of worrying about his own needs made me like him a little more. Talia is a delight to watch. She knows she loves Dykstra, and while she may not understand his actions, she knows she can’t accept anything less than mutual feelings from him. I love a strong female character who knows her true worth. Fans and newcomers to Ms. Karland’s novels will enjoy this new series. Lionsmate’s feral edgy sex, strong characters, skillfully written setting and plot draw you into Dykstra and Talia’s adventure.
