Detective Sergeant Chandra Hunt has worked hard to earn her rank. She never knew her real family, and has just a few people that have taken on the roles of loved ones in her life. Chandra’s best friend is missing and all trails lead to a hedonistic adult club called Foreplay. Unbeknown to Chandra, she has just delivered herself into the waiting fangs of Sin-Bad Stoner, a vampire.

Sin took one look at Chandra and knew she had to be his. He has lived too long to accept a relationship on anyone’s terms except his own. Chandra’s will and independence forge a battle like none Sin has ever fought. The centuries past devastation ravished Sin, making love and marriage count as human frailties. However, Chandra has other things in mind and doesn’t want to settle for less.

Night of Sin brings hot sex and overwhelming compulsion to our doors. I loved Chandra's strong determined character. She was a woman who knew what she wanted, and fought to gain it with sheer will and hard work. To see her actually perform the job that she fought so hard to gain would have been an extra-added bonus. Sin left a slightly bad taste in my mouth. His arrogance had me doing eye rolls and his lack of consideration surely made my head spin. While I understand he was centuries old and set in his ways, I really wanted Chandra to flip him the bird, fling a shoe at him, or just flat get a grip and get over him. Yes, he had some redeeming qualities after some point, but through at the least one-hundred and seventy pages, I found myself wanting to see him staked. Night of Sin is not your average love story where the man actually says he loves you, but some of Sin's actions prove that he cares for Chandra more than he is willing to admit. Furthermore, if you are anything like me, you will find yourself rooting for one of the other characters to gain Chandra's hand instead of Sin-Bad.
