Ana is sister to Cam and seven other brothers whom she has taken care of for years since their parents were not able to. She has always been the one to keep the peace among her brothers and others that are close to the family. Now that her enforcer powers are growing stronger, there is much she wants to do to help Appolion work through his separation with his brother Abdiel and twin Rachael.

Appolion has been alone, on the run, for years and hiding from everyone looking for him, including his father. When he finally meets up with Ana, they are already in love with each other and both still try to resist their emotions in order to stay focused on why she is there. The fact that he is the Destroyer in the Order of the Four was one of the main reasons he was fighting to stay away from any angels until he accepted his fate.

Rogue Angel, the third book in the Archangel Series, is leading up to a huge battle between Heaven and Hell, which will cause division between all angels because of the dissention. When Appolion finally accepted the love of his siblings, it was life-changing for the three of them as they were used to abuse and betrayal all the time from their parents. There’s so much deceit within the council that it’s causing problems for the Chief of the Archangels who knows that there was no way to stop the fighting.

This was a wonderful story written by Stephani Hecht, who created so many different personalities for each of her characters that they needed each other to survive. It was a fantastic book that is leading up to something none of the angels really want because there will be great losses for everyone and the humans will suffer even more because there may not be any angels to protect them from the demons of hell.
