In small town Epping North Dakota, farmer Linc Hallberg is taking his bumper crop of cucumbers to the county extension office to use their pickling facilities. Linc is very attracted to the office’s agent Pol Backstrom but dare not reveal that secret. Shortly after Linc’s arrival, a friend of Pol’s and a scientist, Marc O’Neil walks in. Testing his hopeful speculation, Pol kisses Linc, finding no rebuff to his advances; the three men rise to the next level, immediately finding a new use for the facility’s pickling tables.
Peck of Pickles is a fantastic story of gay men in small town America. Linc and Pol were afraid to reveal their nature until Marc came to town with a business proposal to benefit all three and justify their closeness to the small minds of the people living around them. As always, the gifted Lena Austin peppers the story with witty comments, but also takes a direct hit at the real issues people must deal with. I enjoyed this amazing story immensely and would love to visit these characters again in the near future.

This story has so much potential !!! it carrys a really strong message of today's issues, and of course the humor and hot love scenes didn't hurt either *grin* fantastic !!!
