After a hard night of partying, the last place Carey wants to be is at the comic book convention hosted by the hotel where he works. Wandering the hotel floor making sure everyone is setting up okay and looking for a place to crash, Carey is surprised to see someone that just might make the whole day worthwhile.
Patrick can’t believe he let his friend talk him into helping her at the comic book convention. To top things off, she is late, which leaves Patrick to set up the area on his own. While cleaning up a mess, Patrick hears something that changes his whole day - a wolf whistle.
Carey’d Away is a fun, fast, read by J. M. Snyder. Taking place during the course of a day, the story tells us about two very different people. Carey, the overly confident hotel employee, and Patrick, the shy self-conscious young man who is helping a friend. Each intrigued by the other, the two realize that working the convention might not be so bad after all.
