Double Dare is the third book in Ms. Matthews’ Naughty Games series, and I found myself wondering how Shane was going to rectify his error in judgment with Paige. It is interesting to read about five people, who went through college together, and are still learning to accept the truth about each other. These two lovers go from arguing with each other, to very hot and heavy sex that leads to expressing the emotions that they’ve kept pinned up inside.

In this book, Ms. Matthews tells of a determination by the characters to continue a close bond that formed early on, the challenges they have had, and a desire to find true love. The story had me laughing at the stubbornness of both Shane and Paige, and both of them had the same wants without realizing it. This book can be read as a stand alone, but to get a better feel for the characters, you really must read all three.
