Adam is persuaded by his friend to take the job, and hopes he can keep his emotions in check around Jasmine. He’s bent on keeping Jasmine alive, something he couldn’t do for his partner.

Hunted Witness is a quickie, but packed with hot sex, and a lot of action. I was kept wondering about the murder in this story, and didn’t figure it out until almost the end. Carol Storm does a wonderful job of writing about how the murderer set up someone else for the fall, but then needed to take out a witness, too. I found the secondary characters to be a wonderful addition to the story, especially the neighbor and boyfriend who gave Jasmine the information she needed to deal with Adam. This is the first book I have read by this author, who impressed me, and I look forward to reading other books by her.
