Ms. James created a relationship between the two that starts out with both Jolie and Mac fearing rejection. I enjoyed the way she had Mac take charge and then backing off to allow Jolie space to decide what she wanted as both tried to resolve their insecurities about being accepted. This is one book you will not want to be interrupted while you read it.
