Samantha and John are linked in mind and she can hear his thoughts, just as he can hear hers. The next part of mating is called mutatis and must be performed on his home world, so that he can renew his body and spirit with the energy currents from the planet or die. Waiting for passage to Chizan, John receives a message that Harimal’s ship is lost. Now John must choose between completing the mating ritual and searching for his brother.

Starlight Desire is book two in the Starlight series. Each episode adds more interesting characters; Taren is a shifter cat with wings. Astrid Cooper illustrates another fascinating layer to an intriguing plot combined with sensual pleasures. The series continues to lure me towards the next episode which I hope will be soon. This is a wonderful well written series that is very enjoyable.
