Best friends Tyrone and AJ share the same passion. Both are ‘duelling pianists’ for one of the hottest bars around. Tyrone is sexy, social and commands attention both off stage and on. AJ loves his music but is nothing like his confident self on stage. When AJ and Tyrone get scouted, they head to Las Vegas to live their dreams. However, something is simmering beneath the surface and both men are about to find out what exactly they really want from each other.
Interlude has a very Cinderella theme to it. The happily-ever-after is there and you want to yell at the characters to open their eyes. But the process is sweet torture building up till you get your perfect ending. Not to be mistaken, the author makes her characters work for their happily-ever-after. The premise of two pianists was very interesting, and the whole music scene set-up seemed very realistic and more over interesting. However I felt something missing from the heroes; I didn’t feel any real connection with them. On the other hand, I liked how the author built-up her story and allowed her characters a real journey.
