AKM Miles’ Soldier is an excellent story. Rather than focus on just the lead characters, Dillon and Soldier, with the secondary characters playing in the background, this story revolves around the family the men and boys make up. The author does a great job bringing these characters to life; the scene at the pound will have you wishing for Kleenex. This book is sure to land on many ‘keeper’ shelves.
