Jenna Hilary Sinclair takes us into the life of John Barrington, one of the business owners affected by the Lindotion conflict. While John’s mind was focused on increasing business for his company, he knew his connection with Donnell was something he couldn’t ignore. John walks us through the events leading up to their relationship, allowing us to glimpse into his reactions, and emotions throughout this unusual courtship. While John’s perspective gives a clear account of how the men became friends and eventually more, I wished the story had more moments of one on one interaction between the two men. Overall, I found Taking Care of Business to be enjoyable to read.
