Colters’ Woman

Title: Colters’ Woman Author: Maya Banks Publisher: Samhain Publishing Publisher URL: ISBN: 978-1-59998-145-1 Genre: {M/F}, {M/F/M/M}, Ménage a quatre, Contemporary Rating: 5 Nymphs Literary Nymphs Reviewer: Amazon Nymph The three Colter brothers are not really looking for anyone. They have come to grips with the fact that they may never find the one woman that all three will accept. Adam discovers Holly in the snow unconscious and as soon as he picks her up, he hopes his brothers will also feel the same way about her as he does. He doesn’t need to worry about that. Holly has tried to change her looks as she is hiding from her husband. After she witnesses him killing a man on their wedding day, then Mason hits her on their wedding night, she started running. She runs straight into the Colter brothers. She has to adjust to the idea of what they expect, but comes to the realization that she wants forever. Colters’ Woman is the first book in the Colters’ Legacy series. The Colters have a history of alternate marriages and relationships that are not the norm in our society. Among the Colters, a woman having three husbands is not unusual, though. The relationship between Holly and the men is not without its pitfalls and the author navigates them beautifully. You could be standing in the kitchen and feel right at home listening to the men and Holly. The chemistry between the four of them will require lots of ice to be kept on hand. Ms. Banks keeps the suspense going, as well as giving you a glimpse of the Colter family. As the men try to keep Holly with them and safe, you catch some of the insecurities of the men.

Callie’s Meadow is a bonus story at the end of Colters’ Woman. This story continues the story of Holly, Adam, Ethan, and Ryan starting after they have three children. Holly is pregnant with their fourth child. I really enjoyed learning about their later lives and am looking forward to reading more about this unusual family. I will be reading this one again.
