Melody Jenks has been infatuated with Luther since she was a teenager. Now, she is partner of a law firm and playing the role of his girlfriend to dissuade gold diggers. After years of waiting, Melody is ready for Luther to see her as a desirable woman. When she approaches Sebastian Kincaid with a plan to make Luther jealous, Sebastian sees this as a golden opportunity to gain some time in Melody’s company, the woman he loves. However, what starts out as make-believe turns into a real affair of the heart. Will the couple recognize their gift of love before it’s too late?
It's Only Make-Believe takes us into the lives of Melody and Sebastian. Sebastian is handsome, smart and more than ready to make Melody his only love. His problem is the heart and the guts don’t match up. He has carried a torch for the ebony beauty since he arrived, but lacks the nerve to voice his desires. Melody thought Luther was the man of her dreams. While I don’t condone trickery, I’m happy that she recognized her feelings for Sebastian without a care to what family or strangers would think. Shawn Lane brings lust, love and hidden desires in It's Only Make-Believe.
