With Jack & Sydney’s continued resistance of each other and the other team members trying not to notice what’s going on was making things difficult. Now that all the different group of Freedom Fighters had banded together to take down the Cyrellian aliens so they could finally get them off the planet Earth and take back their lives. When Jack was injured during a return trip on the way out of the city, Bennet, from a rebel group, decides to leave him and Anna went along with it. Sydney refuses to let Jack stay by himself and they find themselves running for their lives. After days of hiding, the couple makes it back to the compound and finds all of the others safely back along with plenty of tension, too.
Children of the Dust 4: Resurrection left me with a feeling of completion that was welcomed at the end of this story. This book was as enjoyable as the first three and I could not get enough of all the characters interacting with each other. The idea that the people finally saw the truth and rebelled against the Cyrellian aliens makes you hope that it will continue on in the future.
On a side note here I wanted to say that after reading all four books, I was very impressed by the creativeness that Eve Vaughn used to write and look forward to reading all of the other books she has written. All of the characters brought something to this series that had you wanting to be apart of at one time or another and some feistier than others. If you want action, sci-fi adventure, then this is a series for you.
