Shem is still adjusting to the horrors of the past year when fate decides to intervene by bringing the young shifter’s mates into his life.  But that does not mean everything will run smoothly as one of his mates is the brother to the vampire that helped cause Shem’s problems, while the other is a human who knows nothing of their world.

My Angel Cheetah is the fourth book in the Purrfect Mates series.  While the book can be considered a stand alone, readers will get a better understanding of the series dynamics if they read the stories in order.

In My Angel Cheetah, Shem is a young cheetah shifter, who also happens to be blind, something which occurs to the runts of the litter.  Because of his blindness, Shem strives to be as independent as possible.  This causes problems when the young man meets Curtis, his first mate.  Due to issues that both men must overcome, the misunderstandings that occur are understandable.  Things are no less stressful when the men meet their second mate and, in fact, things turn intense very fast.

Dieter knows nothing of the paranormal world so Shem and Curtis, not only have to explain to Dieter that he is their other mate, but also that they are not human.  While it was necessary for Diets and Shem to have sex soon after meeting, I loved that the author did not gloss over Dieter’s uncertainties with his new circumstances.  I only wish that we had been able to see more of Curtis and Dieter getting to know each other as well.

My Angel Cheetah has a little bit of everything, making it a great read for all.
