Travis inherits a vast amount of land and finds a mysterious tenant already there. Cembran is like no one Travis has ever known, and together, they discover a deep, soul-filling love. That love, however, is threatened at every turn, and it’s going to take everything they have to save it -- and the satyrs themselves.
Children of Bacchus was an interesting book. It’s rare to find anything written about satyrs in the romance genre, so for that, it was quite a good read. The love scenes were sweet and well-done, and the emotions were never far from the surface. The characters themselves were very lovable, especially Cembran. My only issue with the book was its length. I think it could’ve been shortened a bit, and that would’ve kept it from bogging down in a few places, especially in the first part. Overall, though, Children of Bacchus was an enjoyable sweet romance.
