While Dillon has a quiet strength that has helped him build his business, he is flustered when it comes to gaining Vance’s attention. They say don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and for Dillon, an aphorism never rang so true. An undeliverable package presents him with the perfect opportunity to meet Vance. The question is will he take a leap of faith.
Adrianna Dane has written a fantastic holiday book. The characters are a joy to read. Vance is heartbroken that his lover has left town without even a goodbye. Dillon is the strong silent type. He has pined for Vance since he laid eyes on him. Both handsome dynamic men deserve to find happiness in a loving relationship. I loved Dillon’s tenacity when he finally decided to go after Vance. Ms. Dane delivers a great love story while throwing in some suspense and action to give the book a wonderful balance. I’ve read a great deal of her books and I’ll have to admit The Messenger has become my favorite.
