Sal Winters knows that she needs her Gram and will do almost anything to keep her alive. Liam, her next door neighbor and friend for years, is always close by if she needs him for any reason. Keeping her crush from him was very difficult but when she finds out, the hard way, that he knew all along it was devastating for her.
Liam, the leprechaun, is in disguise from the world and any Finder that might be in the area. He knows that Sal is one and so is her Gram, who did not tell her about him because it was her Find. Now that he realizes that he loves her to no end it was very hard to leave so he could change the balance of power in his Realm.
Liam’s Gold is a beautiful love story that comes to past in a setting of a human world where magic is not in use. The two characters cared so much for each other they never figured out that they did love each other until circumstances beyond their control forced the issue. There was a lot of mystery surrounding Liam, more than normal. Jody Wallace has written another wonderful story to take you away to a fairytale time that had me longing for more.
