King Tyan only wants there to be peace, but others have different ideas. He plots with his enemy’s son to kidnap and marry Princess Nae to keep her from marrying the leader of the Oonkaen, set to destroy everyone’s peace. Although he expected some resistance from her, what he gets comes as a complete surprise, and his love for her grows even more.
Princess Nae a bruin elf from the land of Bruia, is a virtual prisoner in her own home, being forced to wed for the sake of gaining power for her father. When she comes to realize that Tyan is the goblin king, she responds with silence, and thinks that she will never have a say in her life.
My Lady is a wonderful story of dragons, goblins, elves, and other mythical creatures that are bent on controlling each other. From the beginning, Tyan shows that he is a man slow to act and that he is filled with compassion for his fellow man. These strong personality traits and his gift to the princess only made me like him more. Shiloh Walker has done an incredible job of bringing her characters to life. I am hoping there will be more to tell of the brother and secondary characters that helped his sister in her time of need.
