This fun and sexy story delivers a romance sure to please, as the relationship between Carly and Dmitri grows from that of strangers to lovers. Carly is a bit unusual for a heroine with her geeky tech job as a computer programmer, and Ms. D’Arc gives just enough information about her occupation to propel the story forward without boring the reader with unimportant computer jargon. Dmitri is everything a romance hero should be: gorgeous, confident, determined, and very, very sexy. This vampire knows what he wants and he doesn’t waste any time seducing the woman who has taken over his thought and desires. The length of this tale might be short at a little under 30K, but the author packs a lot within it’s pages that pull you into the story from beginning to end, making it an enjoyable, if quick, read.
