A great deal has happened on Quarn since the attack two years prior. Kine Raelne, along with Suaj qel Gwan his colleague and partner, have settled into a content relationship. They don’t get to fly as often as they would like, but they have plenty of work to do. Just when the disruption from the first invasion has finally quieted down, a ship from Tuzax arrives. They bring an opportunity for all the major players to visit Tuzax. The question is can they trust the Tuzax government to take them between the two planets without any mishaps?
Bound to Fall is book three in the Encounters series. It was nice seeing how the years have treated Rael, Sauj, Dinun, and Moon. Moon seems to have grown a bit more and is more assertive. Rael has come to terms with the pain he has caused, but he wants to make amends for his crimes. Dinun’s news is more than he can handle alone, and while it makes him feel weak, it allows those who love him to prove the magnitude of their strength. In addition, Sauj gains the opportunity for some healing that he didn’t know he needed. Ms. Somerville has brought back the cast I love and introduced a few new members, who felt like part of the family. For those who have been following this saga you don’t want to miss this installment. Bound to Fall encompasses action, suspense, a few sensual scenes, and a plot within a plot that adds a bit of mystery with the Sci-Fi adventure.
