Mike has always been there for his friend Jay, with each break-up or death, for every move, regardless of how far. Mike was always the one Jay turned to. When Jay’s last boyfriend dies, Mike is once again there to help but this time something is different for both of them. Mike is unsure of his feelings for his friend. It might be love but how can he be sure, and even if it is, what will that mean for him and Jay. Mike knows he could never be happy just as one of Jay's many boyfriends. Jay, on the other hand, has always loved Mike, which is why he has always gone out with the type of guys he has. Knowing he would run to Mike should he ever learn to love, Jay wanted to make sure he was emotionally available to leave. However, Jay cannot go on waiting forever and Mike had better come to some decisions soon or his and Jay’s friendship may be over for good.
Fans of Jaime Samms will love Moving Day. As always, the relationship between the men is never an easy one. Mike and Jay struggle as they try to build a relationship each has always wanted but have been too afraid to hope for. The author pulls you into the story so that you feel as if you are with them. More than once, I wanted to join Mike’s friends, smack him upside his head and tell him to get his act together.
