Cassandra Gold has written a story filled with humor and the awkwardness of a new relationship in Special Delivery. Mark doesn’t know he is truly a diamond among glass. The man is handsome, sweet and caring. Tim Callahan is the attractive deliveryman who doesn’t use his appearance as a tool to weld for personal gain. Watching these men dance around their attraction brought back tender moments when I would flirt with someone, hoping the feelings was mutual. Of course there is a host of supporting characters whom round out this story. The best friend that pushes you to follow your heart, the woman who thinks she’s God’s gift to men and the peanut gallery who seems to fall into step like a teenage girl with hopes that the popular chick will take pity and befriend her. I couldn’t help but to connect with Mark and Tim in this story. I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to picking up Ms. Gold’s next release.
