Screenwriter Jane Darby is a woman in tune to her craft. After meeting three handsome men who are really Monsters, it’s up to Jane to help bring their story to the big screen. Writing screenplays takes more work than most would understand. Part of that requires insider information that will set their story apart from the fiction Hollywood presents to the public. Michael’s job is to assist Jane with this task, but he has trouble opening up. He has issues with his monster form, and hasn’t allowed any of the women to view him as he truly appears. Michael has tried to gain Jane’s attention since their initial meeting. Keeping Michael at arm’s length has aided Jane in keeping him out of her bed. While he is nervous about her reaction to his true form, Michael can’t help but want Jane and her affection. Maybe a bit of negotiating will give Michael a chance to prove he’s the perfect mate for Jane, and Jane a chance to allow passion to rule.

My Fair Monster is the second book in the Monsters in Hollywood series. It’s funny, while I read this story I kept saying Michael is probably the kinkiest of all his friends, and low and behold I was right! The man could definitely teach a few high-level classes in erotica. Then, to discover his true form had me bent over in laughter. I refuse to even hint at what that is, but it definitely added a twist to the story. Ms. Dubois has combined a great setting, believable characters and spice to this well written story.
